i made the code stuff and idea'o'man did the design stuff fighting with html and css! and now it's kind of late here and i'm tired. so....

well, i think i made it. the spider is able fetch the metatags of all sites in the db, especially the decription tag which will be displayed in some detail window with the option of showing a screenshot. the keywords-tag will get interesting later when implementing a search option
next update will get online in some hours, hopefully ;)
it looks alot nicer, too!

hey,

"the coder" started to program a bot yesterday which will get informations out of our user sites metatags. we will add those informations to the listed sites then. thats what we try to get done today...

our site also validates now after we fixed some xhtml/css code.

i already wrote down some ideas for the future and i´m looking forward to get that information page to add some life to this site!

all people reading this, feel free to write down your comments about our site. for example.... what do you await from a search engine, what should it offer what you always missed or what is important information you want other bots to spider from got-linked.com and your site...

day 3 in a search engine´s life...

hey all,
seems "the coder" is still sleeping and i´m currently on the hunt for internet directories to put our site into. i´m still awaiting our google listing to come and think about new strategies to boost the sign up of sites... there are really alot of directories already and of course alot of crap and i guess it´s too early trying to get listed at dmoz.org to tell them that we are not just another directory.

one opinion to grow would be coding a bot that spiders our sites for outgoing textlinks and follow them/indexing them aswell or allow the first 500 sites to get listed without a backlink. would be nice to get some opinions about this.

at the good old resolution of 1024x786 which is really annoying on big screens, but well some people still use it...at this oldschool resolution we reached 4 full lines of links today. i haven't expected that after just about 40 hours.

ok we need traffic so we have to publish our website in forums, search engines and so on and it´s going to be real hard because most people dislike this kind of advertising websites but we don´t have a choice.

now it´s done and we´re online. i´d first like to thank all that supported us so far. we´ll start of with reciprocal textlinks which means that you have to link back to us to get listed at got-linked!
i got no clue where we´ll end and what´s coming up on ideas within the next weeks or months but one thing is for sure... we´ll be all surprised in the end :-)
